Nigel Vogwill worked for the Cornwall Rivers Authority for twenty years before moving into the Fish and Seafood retail sector. Meridian Sea Limited was founded in 1997. His wife Andrea has been with the company since 1998 after a long career in Hotel and Catering.

After visiting France Nigel saw a gap in the U.K. market for quality Seafood Products and teamed up with the leading French producer Miceli. An exclusive partnership was formed to market and distribute Miceli Anchovy products in the U.K and Ireland.

Partnerships have been formed with other producers including Gastromer for restaurant quality Soups and Sauces. This has allowed us to provide a comprehensive range suitable for all market sectors from Wholesalers, Caterers, Food Manufacturers and the Retailers.

Whilst Brexit has thrown up many challenges we continue import the goods and offer a daily service delivering nationally to a wide range of customers.

Meridian Sea Limited may be a small company, but our team has a wealth of experience and still retains that personal touch. Our customers remain loyal due to our attention to detail, fair pricing and consistency. They also appreciate that human point of contact.

Alongside our daily distribution, a bespoke service for larger-scale requirements is operated. We manage the direct import of branded, own label, and white-label products straight from production to your specified location.
